What it is?
Cadastre is a comprehensive register of the metes-and-bounds real property of a country. A cadastre commonly includes details of the ownership, the tenure, the precise location (some include GPS coordinates), the dimensions (and area), the cultivations if rural, and the value of individual parcels of land.
A cadastral map is a map that shows the boundaries and ownership of land parcels. Some cadastral maps show additional details, such as survey district names, unique identifying numbers for parcels, certificate of title numbers, positions of existing structures, section or lot numbers and their respective areas, adjoining and adjacent street names, selected boundary dimensions and references to prior maps.
Cadastral surveys document the boundaries of land ownership, by the production of documents, diagrams, sketches, plans (plats in USA), charts, and maps.
What we do?
Someshinfotech documents quality cadastral maps through a variety of methods:
Cadastral Conversion from hardcopy sources is one of the many methods to create a cadastral database from existing hardcopy documents. This method is more effective when there is high confidence that the existing sources are complete, accurate and somewhat geospatially controlled.
We offer full Re-Mapping from Deed/Plat using COGO as the most intensive cadastral product All property ownership documents (deeds, hardcopy maps, right of way plans, subdivision plans etc.,) are optically scanned and indexed. We use this information to build a county-wide cadastral layer, one parcel at a time, using coordinate geometry, or COGO.
Cadastral Conversion from digital sources utilizes existing digital maps in much the same way as a conversion from hardcopy would. We will acquire the drawings and/or plans, convert them to a common digital format, and tie them together using an existing base map (usually digital orthophotography).
We provide Cadastral Maintenance service for the changes to property ownership that occur on a daily basis in every county tax office. Instead of training staff and buying equipment and software, you may outsource the job to us to perform maintenance on your digital tax maps.
